Day 1: Arusha /Tarangire

Leave Arusha in the later afternoon, and drive to Tarangire National Park; the park is spectacular and it is well known for its large herds of Elephant population; drive to the camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 2 : Tarangire/Ngorongoro

After breakfast, leave for a full day game drives in the Tarangire National Park exploring the spectacular landscape its large herds of Elephant population, birds and other animals. Later in the late afternoon leave the park and drive to Ngorongoro for dinner and overnight.

Day 3 : Ngorongoro

After breakfast, leave with picnic lunch and descend into the Ngorongoro Crater exploring the short grass plains of the largest intact caldera in the world. The crater enjoys its enduring charm stems from the overwhelming physical beauty and the abundance of wildlife permanently resident on the crater floor. This extinct volcano embraces 100sq miles alive with lions, leopard, rhino, elephant, buffalo, and many games, then later in the late afternoon leaves the crater and drive to the lodge in Karatu town for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Lake Manyara/Arusha

After breakfast, we leave with packed lunch and go for a game drive in Lake Manyara; The Park is famous for its tree-climbing lions, elephants, hippos and colorful birds, Alternative (instead of game drive safari in Manyara): After breakfast, we drive to nearby Mto wa Mbu area (4+ miles from Manyara Park’s gate) to do an approximately two hour cultural tour which will include visiting banana or rice plantations as well as a walking safari with traditional healers who will explain the medicinal values of the indigenous plants. We will leave in the afternoon and drive back to Arusha.
