1Day 1: Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport
You will be picked up by the Patrol Africa Safaris representative upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport and transferred to your Hotel in Arusha.

2Day 2 : Tarangire National Park
After your breakfast at Planet Lodge, we will pick you up and proceed to Tarangire National park. One of the largest national parks in Tanzania located in the Manyara region, this place is characterized by the large herds of elephants, tree-climbing lions, and the fascinating baobab trees also called the Tree of Life for its almost mythical powers that some cultures attach to it. This park is especially known for the Tarangire River which flows all year round and is the only source of water for wild animals during dry seasons. In the afternoon we will have our lunch in one of the picnic site in the park, then after you will continue with afternoon game drive.

3Day 3: Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, we leave for a game drive in Serengeti. The Park contains the largest remaining concentration of plains game in Africa, on a scale, which has no parallel anywhere in the world. There is abundance of herbivores. Serengeti is also famous for lions and contains a wide variety of birdlife, believed to be in the region of 350 species, and with good chances also of seeing the predators at work. Lunch at the lodge or as a picnic lunch while on game drive.

4Day 4 & 5: Northern Serengeti
After breakfast, we will drive to Serengeti north to view the great migration in the Mara area. The key feature is the Mara River and it is not uncommon to see the herds cross the Mara River north on one day and then back south a few days later. Please take note that finding a crossing is very challenging and is sometimes a matter of luck. There are instances where herds can be seen next to the river but then only decides to cross a couple of days later.

5Day 6: Central Serengeti
After Breakfast, with our picnic lunch, we will have en route game drive as we driving back to Central Serengeti. Before dusk you will do more game drive in Central Serengeti searching for wildlife.

6Day 7: Ngorongoro
After breakfast, we will have another game drive in Serengeti, and then later after lunch drive to Ngorongoro, with optional ($60/group) visit of Masai village, and optional ($30/person) visit to Olduvai Gorge.

7Day 8: Ngorongoro/ Arusha
After breakfast, leave with picnic lunch and descend into the Ngorongoro Crater exploring the short grass plains of the largest intact caldera in the world. The crater enjoys its enduring charm stems from the overwhelming physical beauty and the abundance of wildlife permanently resident on the crater floor. This extinct volcano embraces 100sq miles alive with lions, leopard, rhino, elephant, buffalo, and many games, then later in the late afternoon leaves the crater and drive to overnight in Arusha.
